Hi, I'm Ameesha

I am Ameesha Awana, a counselling psychologist and mindfulness coach. With a deep passion for working with individuals to transform their lives through the therapy, power of mindfulness and conscious living, I am dedicated to guiding you towards a more balanced, fulfilling, and resilient life.

I have done my Bachelors and Masters in Psychology along with Bachelors in Education. I have been trained in various psychological modalities like Compassion Focused Therapy, Healing through Stories, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Positive Psychology that I use in my sessions and programs.

My journey began with a profound realization: many lifestyles’ diseases stem from habits and mindsets that, while deeply ingrained, can be changed with the right guidance. I founded Mindful petals to offer a compassionate, research-backed path to well-being, empowering individuals to take control of their health and live more mindfully.

Our Values

Authenticity and honesty are at the core of my practice. We believe in delivering genuine, person-oriented care that prioritizes the unique needs of each individual. Our methods are not just about temporary fixes; they are about creating sustainable change that leads to lasting results.

My story

My interest in psychology grew from navigating my own life challenges, complex relationships, and a deep desire to understand and work with people. Even as a child, I was an observer, fascinated by the intricacies of the human mind and behavior. Throughout my journey, I encountered therapists who made me feel truly heard, seen, and understood—held in unconditional regard and care. Their support profoundly impacted my growth, and I knew that this is how I wanted others to feel in my therapy sessions, programs, and workshops

The Bhagavad Gita has been a profound source of inspiration for me, offering insights into the human condition that are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago. I have also been trained in Psychological Insights of Bhagavad Gita. It taught me about resilience, self-awareness, and the importance of living a conscious, mindful life. At the same time, my training in Western psychological modalities equipped me with tools and techniques that are essential for navigating the complexities of the modern world.

I have worked in various individuals, institutes, organizations in providing therapy, mindfulness sessions, programs of Bhagavad Gita, Personality Development and much more.

I aim to guide people toward healthier, more fulfilling lifestyles. I have developed a holistic approach that integrates evidence-based psychological practices with mindfulness techniques.

Maybe the journey isn’t about becoming anything, maybe it's about unbecoming everything that isn’t really you. So that you can be what you were meant to be in the first place.
